Day Three: How will it be?

Wednesday, wonderful Wednesday… For those still in the midst of the weekly grind, this is “Over the Hump Day.” For me, it was a day of rest, once I finished the morning routine/chores. Sometimes, you just gotta crash. So, that’s what I did. I took a luxuriously restful nap this afternoon and I am so thankful I had that opportunity to recharge.

I did tune-in to a business-related zoom call this evening and did a little bit of work but this is mostly turning out to be a day off, which is fantastic. I’m sure I will do some educational reading before I go to bed and maybe a bit more writing on another platform but I am blessed to have been able to rest today.

I will wrap up with a bit of humor, just to make this post more worthwhile for my readers. First, a snippet of a backstory:

I had a next door neighbor, Sue Nell, who was a dear friend of mine. She was a former elementary school teacher who bravely battled cancer for many years before she passed away November 3, 2019. She was often too tired to do much but she was always up for an adventure that we could enjoy within the limitations of her energy levels. Case in point, our trip to visit a local alpaca farm:

She got a kick out of my obsession with making things out of balloons and was kind enough to pose one day for a photo op with a “Dr Dolly Llama” balloon gift I made for her when she came home from one of her many hospital stays.

We were always sending one another funny memes we found online and she mentioned once that we should make t-shirt buttons from our favorites. So, I bought a small kit and made some buttons for her which I left in her car as a surprise. Here are a few of them:

I hope some of those made you smile and that you have a blessed day.
